"Should old acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind?"
For various reasons, life sometimes takes us in different directions from friends once near. We move, change jobs, get married, kids grow, and we have less contact with friends who were once close during the earlier seasons; but the friendships are still precious.
Today use whatever means of communication you prefer-- phone, handwritten letter, email, Facebook, Skype. Let your "old acquaintance" know you're thinking of them.

What books are you planning to read this year? Make a list. It doesn't have to be fancy. On the other hand, you could be very creative and make it a piece of art. As you complete a book, check it off the list. As you learn of new books that pique your interest, add them. At the end of the year, you'll have a record of the worlds you've explored through print.

It doesn't take much, but it can make a tremendous impact. Put a smile in someone's day by truly noticing them. Make the world better today by letting people know that they matter.
Update: I can't keep up with sharing the Power Pauses in multiple locations, so I am discontinuing them here on the blog. If you would like to get more Power Pauses, you can join us over on Facebook where a new Power Pause is shared every week day throughout 2020.
