"The Story Road." Doesn't that sound like the perfect cover title for a journal?
Write things present in a journal made from things past. The cover is upcycled from an elementary reading book published in 1957. I made the end pages at the front and back of the book so some of the original design of the book is still visible, as well as a stamp in the front from the school where the book was used.
The open spine shows off the hand-stitching of the binding, as well as it allows the book to lie flat when open.
The journal measures 8" long x 5-9/16" wide. There are 180 lines pages for writing.
Inside each journal that I hand-stitch, I use vintage metal stamps to stamp ABP, plus a production number. This is journal #21.
